Bishopston Bagels terms and privacy policy 

General terms

  • All standard consumer rights apply when engaging with Bishopston Bagels. 

  • The following terms are in addition to your standard rights and act as further clarifications to interactions with the business.

  • The terms may be updated at any time.

Product terms​

  • Prices are subject to change at any time and without notice. 

  • All products are subject to be changed, updated or modified at anytime. 

  • If a change affects an open order (paid but not delivered) customers will be given notice and choice if they wish to proceed with order or given refund. 

  • Pictures of products on the website may differ from the physical products delivered.

  • Lunch bag contents subject to variance of items included.

Allergens

  • You must read the ingredient and allergen information carefully before ordering and declare any allergies. ​

  • All allergens in the ingredients have been identified but please be aware the bagels are made in an environment with multiple allergens including ones not stated within the bagels. Great care to not cross contaminate has been made, but it cannot be guaranteed it hasn't occurred. 

  • You order at your own risk.

Ordering 

  • Orders should be made online, through the website.

  • Orders can also be placed via text message, whats app, email or direct message on Instagram. 

  • If not an order online, the order must contain your name, the quantity and product selection and your address. 

  • Selected areas have a minimum order attached. This minimum order can be changed and updated at the discretion of the business at any time as well as the areas it corresponds to. 

  • Orders are confirmed once payment has been received and are not changeable. However, if a change is requested the business will do its best to remedy the order, but this is at the businesses discretion. 

  • Orders placed by 2pm the previous day are eligible for next day delivery. Otherwise customers can select their future delivery date. 

  • Customers should select between 09:00 - 14:00 as their delivery slot.  However this does not reflect the actual delivery time. The time slot selected is only for the purposes of managing next day delivery orders.

  • Orders for Monday delivery should be placed no later than 14:00 on a Friday. It is at the business's discretion to accept orders past this time for Monday delivery. 

  • Any special requests or requirements should be made clear in the additional information when placing an order or customer should contact the business before ordering.

Delivery

  • There are no specified times for delivery and may be made at any time of the specified day. However delivery aims to be between 09:00 - 13:00 and this is when the majority of deliveries will be made. 

  • There must be someone to take delivery on the day. However, in the event there is no one to receive the order, customers can inform on where the delivery should be left. If not informed the business will decide upon the most appropriate delivery scenario. In either scenario Bishopston Bagels does not take responsibility for any damage or contamination that may occur and it is solely at the customers responsibility. 

  • Bishopston Bagels reserves the right to cancel and not fill any confirmed orders without notice. In this event refunds will be given. 

  • A delivery charge can be applied at the businesses discretion and will be calculated and added to the order when ordering. 

  • Delivery restrictions to certain postcodes apply and are at the businesses discretion of where they are.

Payment

  • All orders are to be paid before delivery and orders aren't confirmed until paid.

  • Payment is to be made through the website, zettle link or invoice.

Complaints 

  • In the event of wanting to make a complaint please make this in writing. Text, email or Instagram message are acceptable.

Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are for weekly deliveries for a period of 4 weeks. The payment reflects this time period and  and the minimum term for subscription is 4 weeks. 

  • Subscriptions are on a rolling basis and will automatically renew at the start of a new 4 week cycle unless cancelled. 

  • Subscriptions must be cancelled to stop the subscription before the next cycle and should not be charged further. However, if cancellation occurs after the start of a subscription it will be at the businesses discretion to refund fully or partially any part of the subscription. No refund will be given for any deliveries already made. 

  • Delivery will be made on the same day chosen by the customer between Monday and Friday.

Type of information collected

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

When you conduct a transaction on our website and through your order, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address and phone number. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons relating to interactions with the order and business.

Why do we collect your information

 

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

1. To provide and operate the Services;

2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

5.To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How we use, store and disclose your information 

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to advertise our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

Payments are all made through Zettle by PayPal and they adhere to the standards set by the PCI DSS (payments card industry data security standard), which safely uses information when making payments.

Consent and how we will contact you

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, update you about an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, there will be an opt-in option and will be used until withdrawn. 
If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at mylesmackinlay@gmail.com

 

Moreover we may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our Terms and Conditions, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, social media and postal mail.
